With an arsenal of slick rock anthems in tow, STATE AND MADISON will return to the road this summer for a stretch of live dates across the Midwest—including stops in St. Louis, Indianapolis, St. Paul and beyond—launching August 1^st at The Record Bar in Kansas City, MO.

Among the dates will be the band’s hometown return to the Metro in Chicago on Saturday, September 5^th for a featured performance at Shoe House Rock. This second annual rock event benefits Chicago-based charity Share Your Soles, which provides gently worn shoes to children in the most impoverished areas of the world. STATE AND MADISON’s upcoming dates will arrive on the heels of two brand new singles that landed online in May (“By The Time You See The Sun”) and June (“Hot Damn!”), that the band has been giving away free to fans via their website, www.stateandmadison.net.

Produced by J Hall with State And Madison, the two new singles expose a band whose organic growth has layered atop a rock solid musical foundation since their 2005 inception. Since the year 2000, FLATFOOT 56 have steadily unleashed a rollicking barrage of Celtic punk and folk-tinged hardcore from the South Side of Chicago to an international audience with intense and positive party-like energy.
